★ ★ ★ ★ ★ a charming museum with beautiful pieces, but there are big problems with some dress, for example on the 2nd floor there is a dress 1845-50 (and not late 19th!) in cotton, she is put on a dress-form from 1903 with an S-shaped silhouette that is not suitable at all, it may distort the dress and this gives visitors a bad vision of fashion from this era, for pity, change this dress-form! even a modern dress-form would be better than the typical S-shaped silhouette of the early 1900s !!! in the next room there is a 1895 dress, she is also on the same type of dress-form, it's a little less embarrassing but it's still not the right form! And the bodice should be in the skirt and not over it, you should use padding to adapt the dress-form to the mensurations of the dress! I hope I have an answer to this message because I find it unfortunate to have such interesting pieces as little highlighted and I would love to help you do it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good selection of paintings, furniture and fashion- museum opens only at preset intervals. It doesn't say it clearly but one is supposed to wait at the front doors (locked). The curators will open them on the dot. No photos allowed, and that's a shame!

And a fabulous piece of stained glass, it alone made the visit worthwhile for me.
