★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting exhibition with avant-garde artists (futurism) and those that participated in the quadriennales 1931/1935 and 1939. Interesting works by Marini and Scipione. A wonderful opportunity to come close to an age in which not only militarism was lauded, but painters directed their attention to an intimate realism that is both expressive and sensitive. The exhibition stages the preparations for a galleria mussolini.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The exhibition wasn’t really impressive..probably because there were no background story/details of the artwork.. and I’m not even going to pretend that a whole floor devoted for a rock the size of my head is art.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great choice for Sunday quality time. Extra walking because public transport in center of Rome was suspended. It was marathon day. At the moment main attraction "Women". The whole gallery dedicated to women all over the world and it is named " body and image between symbolism and revolution". It will last until 13th Oct 2019. Lots of works including paintings, sculptures, graphics and photography. From the late XIX century to 1970's .....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fact we actually paid 7.50 each to get in was actually a joke, there was nothing to see!! We were only able to see the exhibition I know modern art can be a bit out there but at one point I was staring at a blank wall like huh. Didn't get it and wouldn't pay for it again. If I could ask for a refund I would have.
