★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attualmente luogo di rappresentanza della Presidenza del consiglio, fu voluto da Papa Innocenzo X Pamphili e realizzato dall'Algardi nel 1644. Durante la Repubblica romana del 1849 ci furono grossi scontri tra francesi e garibaldini, ma non pare si verificarono danni particolari.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tra le cose più posticce che potrete trovare all'interno della villa, forse perché in eccellente stato e visibilmente senza una storia segnata da agenti atmosferici e guerre. Tra i due quello posto innanzi alla facciata posteriore è sicuramente quello più suggestivo, offrendo un punto prospettico alla quinta. Guardate le foto e le altre recensioni su Roma e le sue meraviglie che ho fatto.
