Beautiful route, magnificent panorama, interesting hermitage. Very simple, except for a few steps and the tiring climb for those who are not used to it.

Proseguendo sulla strada asfaltata è possibile invece trovare più parcheggi vicino la Falesia. Il percorso è semplice ma a tratti ripido e diventa un poco difficile se si hanno problemi di equilibrio. Servono circa 30 minuti per scendere e circa 45 per risalire. Consigliate scarpe da trekking. Fascinating place for the hermitage and for the course of the river even further down accessible from the hermitage itself. Long street parking for up to 10 cars. Continuing on the paved road it is possible to find more parking lots near the cliff. The path is simple but steep at times and becomes a little difficult if you have balance problems. It takes about 30 minutes to get off and about 45 to get back up. Trekking shoes recommended.

Si raggiunge seguendo le indicazioni una volta arrivati a Roccamorice. A parte alcuni tratti, al sole e su terreno roccioso, il sentiero è ben segnalato e in parte in ombra. Suggerisco di indossare scarpe da trekking e portare una borraccia. Ideali anche i bastoncini per aiutarsi nella discesa. Nei periodi meno caldi potrete rinfrescarvi nel fiume sotto l'Eremo. In questo periodo però, visto il cado decisamente anomalo, è in secca. The Hermitage of San Bartolomeo is one of the Celestinian hermitages present in the Majella territory. It can be reached by following the signs once you arrive in Roccamorice. Apart from some stretches, in the sun and on rocky terrain, the path is well signposted and partly in the shade. I suggest you wear hiking shoes and bring a water bottle. Poles are also ideal to help you in the descent. In cooler periods you can cool off in the river below the Hermitage. In this period, however, given the decidedly anomalous fall, it is dry.

Consigliate le scarpe da trekking visto il pietrame e diversi punti impegnativi. Consigliata anche una passeggiata lungo il fiume sotto l'eremo Enchanting place reachable from two sides, the path that starts from Roccamorice rather than Decontra is more comfortable but sunny. Trekking shoes are recommended given the stones and several challenging points. A walk along the river below the hermitage is also recommended

Very beautiful all together, the nature, the climate, the welcome of the locals and last but not least, the spirituality of the Hermitage of San Bartolomeo.
