Dann geht es über zwei Gipfel zum Monte Amaro. Für diese Tour benötigen sie eine sehr gute Kondition, es sind 25 km und 6000 Höhenmeter in mindestens sieben Stunden zu bewältigen. Es gibt nur eine Quelle, wo sie Wasser trinken können, denken sie an ausreichend Wasser und Snacks. Auf dem Gipfel hat man eine umwerfende Aussicht. Gehen sie rechtzeitig zurück, bevor es dunkel wird. Auch eine Jacke sollte man dabei haben.
The Monte Amaro with its height of 2793 m is the second highest peak of the Abruzzo and is definitely worth climbing. Start at the Rifugio Pomilio and park your car there. Then it goes over two peaks to Monte Amaro. For this tour you need to be in a very good physical condition, 25 km and 6000 meters of altitude have to be covered in at least seven hours. There is only one source where you can drink water, make sure you have enough water and snacks. At the summit you have a stunning view. Get back in time before it gets dark. You should also have a jacket with you.
