Si consiglia mezza giornata e concludere un trancio di pizza nel parcheggio dopo il fiumiciattolo nella parte superiore di Pioraco. A short family route with a suggestive sunset. The photos speak for themselves. We recommend half a day and ending with a slice of pizza in the parking lot after the stream in the upper part of Pioraco.

Purtroppo attualmente il sentiero è chiuso per lavori di manutenzione. Assente in tutto il paese una cartellonista turistica adeguata per questo sito! The only attraction of the tiny village of Pioraco southwest of Matelica is the short pedestrian path or "Path Li Vurgacci" made up of runners and bridges that run along the Potenza river whose currents, which feed the production of the ancient Milani Fabriano paper mill, create a continuous series of toboggan water games and waterfalls. Unfortunately, the path is currently closed for maintenance work. There is no tourist poster suitable for this site in the whole country!
M	Michele Cerreto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto carino ma non mi ha entusiasmato. Se fossi stato di passaggio, meritava una fermata altrimenti si può scegliere una meta alternativa. Manca una segnaletica dei percorsi. Il percorso verso la montagna è ripido e non adatto per i bimbi. In pianura vasta area verde per picnic. Ambio parcheggio. I distributori di carburante sono distanti e non frequenti. Percorso pulito ed immerso nel verde. Nice place but it didn't impress me. If I was passing through, it deserved a stop otherwise you can choose an alternative destination. There is no signposting of the routes. The path to the mountain is steep and not suitable for children. On the plain there is a large green area for picnics. Ample parking. The petrol stations are distant and infrequent. Clean path surrounded by greenery.

The walk by the river took all of 20 minutes maybe, and isn't anything incredibly special for this region. Great lookout up top to view the town, and the face statues were quite fun to see!
