Nehezen megközelíthető,sajnos semmilyen tudományos információ nincs.csodálatos természeti környezet, tenger , hegy, növényzet. Különös sziklamaradvànyok, magyarázat nélkül.Ennek megfelelően erősen misztikus összbenyomás.
It is difficult to access, unfortunately there is no scientific information. Wonderful natural environment, sea, mountain, vegetation. Strange rock remnants, without explanation. Accordingly, a strongly mystical overall impression.

Reaching the extensive necropolis is a simple and delightful journey. The state of the archaeological sites is totally abandoned. The route has a slight difference in height and is very beautiful, with Monte Saraceno which allows you to reach the mountain side of the "Mattinata Bay".

All in all, I suggest you take a look at it even for a short time. Park your car near the highway and continue on foot to the mule track and paths. Beautiful tombs but above all this route deserves for the wonderful panorama on the morning and the Gargano coast. Unfortunately, as stated in other reviews, the place is not well kept and organized. Access requires no payment, there are no guides or information points.

Nothing really to see. Beautiful panorama though.

Lovely views of the Adriatic that include matinata bay and manfredonia. Indications of previous habitation with holes in the solid rock. Not quite sure what to make of it as a place but worth a visit just for the views.

A relatively easy hike with stone steps for 1,5 hour both ways from the bottom, starting from gardens of Mattinata. Once you climb up to the military post of WWII you have to take a 5 min walk on the unpaved road which will lead you to necropolis area.

This easy walk provided the best coastal view. Definitely worth seeing. Bring a lunch, take in the view, and enjoy wondering along the cliff edge. There is evidence of once inhabited dwellings and storage shelters.
