Riaperta subito dopo il terremoto grazie all'intervento di un privato che ha anticipato (e di gran lunga) i tempi della ricostruzione pubblica che ancora arranca.
È presente una grande cripta all'interno con la pietra che porta i segni delle ginocchia del Santo al quale è dedicata la chiesa
