Well-groomed path with a wonderful panorama, a glimpse of Spello and the valley at its feet truly fabulous. Simple path to tackle even without adequate equipment. Excellent for those who walk with their dog.

The various Roman finds are abandoned and neglected .. it would not take much in such a beautiful path!

Passeggiata massimamente gradevole, agevole e suggestiva.
Extremely pleasant, easy and suggestive walk. Ideal route to immerse yourself in the Umbrian rural quiet, among olive groves, villages and, unparalleled peculiarity, along the continuously visible remains of the ancient Augustan aqueduct. In short, much of the best essence of my land in 5.5 km (and as many on the way back). However, I would recommend more precise signs at the start of the route, both coming from Spello and Collepino. I had in fact left the car in Spello (in Fonte della Bulgarella, identifiable on Maps). A clearly visible sign indicated a wide uphill path. Instead, from the parking space, you had to turn slightly to the right shortly after the start of the climb. I pulled straight for the widest route, I risked getting lost and in any case I extended by 4km. Similarly from Collepino, where I had to ask why at the crossroads it was not immediately obvious where to take the route.

Beautiful walk with a view! Too bad the grass a little too high around the path.

A must see even if only for a short time. As much as I would have liked to hike the entire 2.5 miles to Collepino, I'm just very happy to have seen these ancient Roman aqueducts at all. Truly amazing how well intacted they still are. Not to forget the views of Spello, the mountains beyond, the valley below, and the endless olive trees. It's a walk amongst history... Directions: If arriving within Spello, the easiest way to find the trail head is to walk to the very north edge of the town (about another 4 mins of walking from the Arco Romano) and exit the walls through porta montanara by via poeta. (Do not follow the Google directions as it will make you walk all the way around; there is no need to do so as via poeta will connect directly through- even cars can drive this route). Continue until you reach via bulgarella, which will lead you directly to the trail head. The trail head is well marked and easy to see from afar.

Wonderful path between olive tress, plants and flowers following the antique Roman aqueduct. The view is absolutely breathtaking, very close to Spello which is absolutely worth visiting.
