★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent mini restaurant with great dishes and descent prices. We went there for lunch a Sunday noon. Both the waiter and chef were friendly and kind. Food was delicious, probably the best we tasted in Tuscany. I totally recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful meal with fresh local ingredients. Best meal in a long time! Federico, our waiter was so nice and we ordered his suggestions of what was made fresh that day. Very small intimate place and we happened to get a table in the alley which was very cozy with the lighting. Highly recommend this restaurant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are visiting from San Francisco and stumbled upon this restaurant our first night in Cortona. This was one of the most amazing dining experiences we’ve ever had. The food was very high quality and the service was the best we received in Italy. It’s an extremely intimate restaurant with one chef (owner) and one waiter. I can’t recommend this place enough, get a table outside if you can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing restaurant, perfect ambiente and very good food. The best we had in Tuscany. The owner was very nice, they are supporting small local family businesses. You don't have a too big variety of food to choose, because they cook fresh and what they offer on the menu, is just amazing. Definitely worth to come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the most wonderful lunch at Sartu today! The food, service, interior, and the handwritten song sheet menu was Perfetto!
The mushroom and beef ravioli was so incredible that it has ruined me from ever having a comparable ravioli again. The handmade ravioli was perfectly shaped, and when you bit into the mushrooms they passionately released their juice in your mouth.
The chickpea soup with its thin toasts had the most beautiful broth.
Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place in a small and cozy street, lit by a lot of candles. The waiter was very kind as well as the chef who came by at the end to have a little chat. Both the starter as well as the main dish were excellent! Typical local meat and vegetables. Could not have wished for a better place to end our holiday at. Gracie!
