Il Santo Padre molto miracoloso è stato trovato nella cava di tufi da operai durante il loro lavoro.La leggenda narra che è stato trasportato nella chiesa vicina e che durante la notte ha fatto ritorno nel luogo di ritrovo dove è stato costruito il santuario a suo onore.
Sanctuary much loved and revered by all the citizens of the town of Marsala and neighboring countries. The very miraculous Holy Father was found in the tuff quarry by workers during their work. The legend tells that he was transported to the nearby church and that during the night he returned to the meeting place where the sanctuary was built in his honor .
