★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccola ed elegante santuario situato in frazione Santa Maria a Turate. Si presenta con ampio pronao a cinque archi sormontato dalla facciata a capanna e dal campanile. L'edificio risalente al secolo XVI al suo interno nasconde un tesoro minore del patrimonio artistico lombardo del seicento. Gradevoli sono gli affreschi del presbiterio dedicati a Maria bambina. Interessante e' la cappella posta a meta' navata sulla destra. Sarebbe utile della pubblicazione per meglio conoscere la storia del Santuario.
Small and elegant sanctuary located in the hamlet of Santa Maria in Turate. It has a large pronaos with five arches surmounted by the gabled façade and the bell tower. The building dating back to the 16th century contains a minor treasure of the Lombard artistic heritage of the seventeenth century. Pleasant are the frescoes in the presbytery dedicated to Maria child. The chapel in the middle nave on the right is interesting. It would be useful for the publication to better know the history of the Sanctuary.
