★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima chiesetta di campagna,antica. Piccolo portico,semplice fuori. Stupenda dentro,affrescata, vetri piccoli colorati, e circondata da un piazzale in brecciolina dove d'estate di tiene la festa di Santa Maria, e dove c'è la statua di Maria che dà il nome al piccolo santuario e alla frazione di Turate di poche case che la circonda. Dieci anni fa mi ci sono sposata. Eravamo una 50ina e la chiesetta era piena. Dipende dalla Parrocchia di Turate, cui bisogna chiedere per cerimonie in essa. Vale la pena di vederla, se la si trova aperta. A oggi, la messa settimanale è sospesa per covid, comunque non ne è più stata tenuta una giornaliera già da un po' prima della pandemia.
Beautiful old country church. Small porch, simple outside. Stunning inside, frescoed, small colored glass, and surrounded by a square in brecciolina where the feast of Santa Maria is held in the summer, and where there is the statue of Mary that gives its name to the small sanctuary and the hamlet of Turate di few houses surrounding it. I got married there ten years ago. We were a 50 and the church was full. It depends on the Parish of Turate, which must be asked for ceremonies in it. It is worth seeing if you find it open. To date, the weekly mass has been suspended due to covid, however a daily mass has not been held since a while before the pandemic.
