★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conosco la chiesa di San Gaudenzio dalla mia infanzia. È un edificio sacro composto da una navata centrale e un piccolo transetto e il coro dietro l'altare. È a pianta a croce pseudo latina. È un edicio religioso grande se rapportato agli abitanti di Fagnano nel momento in cui fu costruita. Gessi, marmi e vetrate policrome la adornano. Il momento migliore per recarsi al suo interno è il pomeriggio di tarda primavera quando la luce calda e alta del periodo regala ai fedeli e visitatori una sensazione più intima e meditativa. Provate a passare qualche momento in questo edificio e sarete soddisfatti e contenti di godere di tanta atmosfera di storia, cultura e meditazione.
I have known the church of San Gaudenzio from my childhood. It is a sacred building consisting of a central nave and a small transept and the choir behind the altar. It has a pseudo-Latin cross plan. It is a large religious building if compared to the inhabitants of Fagnano at the time it was built. Plasters, marbles and polychrome windows adorn it. The best time to go inside is the late spring afternoon when the warm and high light of the period gives the faithful and visitors a more intimate and meditative feeling. Try to spend a few moments in this building and you will be satisfied and happy to enjoy so much atmosphere of history, culture and meditation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa di San Gaudenzio è stata edificata nel 1743, ad una navata unica con statue quadri e affreschi. Si può ammirare di un artista sconosciuto l'immagine della “Madonna della Provvidenza” del Trecento.
La cappelle di destra sono dedicate a San Giuseppe e alla Beata Vergine Immacolata. In quest’ultima puoi ammirare una pregiata statua in legno donata da Francesco Belvisi. La prima cappella a sinistra è intitolata al Santissimo Crocifisso, posto nel lontano 1809 in una nicchia incorniciata con marmo di colore nero. L’altra cappella è dedicata a San Gaudenzio, il patrono della chiesa. La torre campanaria del 1788. Bella e ricca di storia, la consiglio per una visita.
The Church of San Gaudenzio was built in 1743, with a single nave with square statues and frescoes. It is possible to admire the image of the "Madonna della Provvidenza" of the fourteenth century by an unknown artist.
The right chapels are dedicated to St. Joseph and the Blessed Immaculate Virgin. In the latter you can admire a precious wooden statue donated by Francesco Belvisi. The first chapel on the left is dedicated to the Holy Crucifix, placed in the distant 1809 in a niche framed with black marble. The other chapel is dedicated to San Gaudenzio, the patron saint of the church. The bell tower from 1788. Beautiful and rich in history, I recommend it for a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una parrocchia o una chiesa la giudichi per ciò che dentro trovi... non tanto per l'architettura o l'arte ma per le persone che incontri e si propongono. Per me è stata una bella esperienza, partecipando a un battesimo il diacono è il parroco ci hanno coinvolto spiegando e motivando il valore della cerimonia. Non con imposizione ma con coinvolgimento nel vivere quotidiano.
You judge a parish or a church for what you find inside ... not so much for architecture or art but for the people you meet and propose themselves. For me it was a good experience, participating in a baptism the deacon and the parish priest involved us explaining and motivating the value of the ceremony. Not with imposition but with involvement in everyday life.

Viene soprannominata anche "Duomo della Valle" per la sua grandezza e maestosità.
