★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Splendida, ben curata e presentata, il sig Luca saprà accogliervi e raccontarvi quanto c'è da sapere. Un luogo mirabile ben conservato e mantenuto. Presenta anche un buon numero di opere d'arte sia dell'epoca che contemporanee. Non si può non visitare.
 Splendid, well cared for and presented, Mr. Luca will be able to welcome you and tell you what you need to know. An admirable place well preserved and maintained. It also features a good number of both period and contemporary works of art. One cannot fail to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al termine di una deliziosa gita in barca lungo la Riviera del Brenta, ammirando le ville venete che la costellano, abbiamo visitato la Barchessa di Villa Valmarana a Mira. Siamo stati accolti in modo molto simpatico da un gentile signore, credo gestore della villa, che ci ha raccontato la storia di questa costruzione cinquecentesca, sopravvissuta a varie vicissitudini. In seguito la moglie ci ha condotto nelle sale dove un tripudio di affreschi del Tiepolo ci ha travolto! Da visitare assolutamente!
At the end of a delightful boat trip along the Riviera del Brenta, admiring the Venetian villas that dot it, we visited the Barchessa di Villa Valmarana in Mira. We were greeted in a very nice way by a kind gentleman, I believe the manager of the villa, who told us the story of this sixteenth-century building, which has survived various vicissitudes. Later his wife took us to the rooms where a riot of frescoes by Tiepolo overwhelmed us! A must visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tappa obbligatoria per vivere a pieno l'esperienza della riviera del Brenta questa antica barchessa risale al 1500, in origine esistevano le due barchesse gemelle con al centro la villa padronale il tutto a uso agricolo. Poi con l'avvento dell'acquisizione da parte dei Valmarana la barchessa di sinistra venne modificata ad uso di foresteria con lo scopo di ospitare potenti per stringere trattati commerciali per la Serenissima di Venezia. In quel periodo storico la barchessa tocco il suo apice, i suoi saloni vennero affrescati e abbelliti. Con il trascorrere del tempo la villa centrale venne abbattuta e la sua bella barchessa chiusa fino a quando non venne riscoperta nel secolo scorso.
Oggi la barchessa è aperta al pubblico che può ammirare i suoi splendidi interni. Proprietari molto cordiali, vogliono che i visitatori si sentano come a casa! Molto consigliata!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are disappointed with this place. We bought a double ticket to Villa Widmann and Villa Valmarana. We visited Villa Widmann on the day of buying tickets, the second one was already closed and we were informed that we could visit it the next morning. When we arrived in the morning, it turned out that V. Valmarana was still closed. We were informed that it would be open next week, we would be refunded in case of any difficulties. We spoke English with one of the ladies then. At the next visit, the situation repeated itself, V. Valmarana was still closed and the ladies handling the cash register said no refund was possible. Neither of them spoke English. Finally, they gave us an e-mail address to V. Valmaran, where we can file a complaint. To top it all off, the ticket office is a tourist information point. We advise against this place and certainly the purchase of tickets to visit both houses.
