La chiesa è adornata da numerose opere d'arte, sculture e dipinti di pregevole fattura. Nel chiostro di possono ammirare gli ex voto di numerosi fedeli, per lo più naviganti, a ricordo tangibile della grazia ricevuta dalla Madonna in occasione di gravi pericoli. Molto suggestiva e ricca di mistica religiosità è la cappella in cui è ricostruita, con mano felice di artista, l' evento miracoloso dell'apparizione della Vergine alla giovinetta. The church is adorned with numerous works of art, sculptures and paintings of fine workmanship. In the cloister you can admire the ex-votos of numerous faithful, mostly sailors, as a tangible reminder of the grace received by the Madonna on the occasion of serious dangers. Very suggestive and rich in mystical religiosity is the chapel in which the miraculous event of the apparition of the Virgin to the young girl is reconstructed with the happy hand of an artist.

Vi è anche un coccodrillo imbalsamato, esposto nell adiacente negozietto di souvenir. È appeso al soffito sopra il bancone ?. Nel bellissimo sagrato...uno dei piu bei panorami mozzafiato del Tigullio. Un panorama a 270°. Mare e Monti, della Liguria. Vi si può accedere in diversi modi. Il più pittoresco e faticoso e suggestivo, lungo l antica mulattiera, che sale dal mare (Castello di Rapallo, Chiesa San Francesco), da 0 a 600/650 metri di altitudine in salita con pendenze costanti. M	Maria Cecilia Torri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La località Boschetto si raggiunge facilmente con una passeggiata di pochi minuti, prendendo la strada (o la scala) che passa dietro il Teatro Sociale di Camogli. Il Santuario merita certamente una visita sia per la posizione dominante sul golfo, sia per la struttura. Sorge nel luogo dove Maria sarebbe apparsa ad una giovane del luogo nel 1518. L'afflusso di pellegrini e la necessità di accoglierli fece si che l'originaria cappella venisse ampliata nella struttura attuale che risale al 1631. L'interno, a tre navate, è riccamente decorato in stile barocco; nella volta è rappresentata la vicenda dell'apparizione di Maria. Numerosi gli ex voto all'interno, ma quelli più interessanti sono raccolti nell'adiacente oratorio: rappresentano per lo più scene di naufragio da cui marinai sarebbero scampati grazie all'intervento divino. Molto interessanti i pannelli esplicativi che aiutano a comprendere la fede e la cultura della gente di mare. Difficile trovare in rete gli orari di apertura per le visite: la chiesa era aperta alle 16 (non so quando al mattino). Il museo degli ex voto sarebbe aperto al pubblico il sabato. E' comunque possibile accedere ad esso dall'interno della chiesa. Una piccola offerta per il mantenimento di queste strutture può essere un pensiero gentile. The interior, with three naves, it is richly decorated in the Baroque style; in the vault the story of the apparition of Mary is represented. There are numerous ex-votos inside, but the most interesting ones are collected in the adjacent oratory: they mostly represent shipwreck scenes from which sailors would have escaped thanks to divine intervention. The explanatory panels that help to understand the faith and culture of the seafarers are very interesting. It is difficult to find the opening hours for visits online: the church was open at 4 pm (I don't know when in the morning). The ex voto museum would be open to the public on Saturdays. It is however possible to access it from inside the church. A small donation for the maintenance of these facilities can be a kind thought.

Il museo quando ci sono stata l'ultima volta non era ancora stato implementato. Supponiamo la chiesa venga aperta solo negli orari delle Celebrazioni, non abbiamo capito in che modo sia possibile visitare il museo, almeno in questa occasione non abbiamo trovato indicazioni. È stato edificato sul luogo,dove secondo la tradizione popolare,apparve la Madonna a una pastorella il 2 luglio1518. Prima vi fu edificata una Cappella,dopo seguì l'attuale Santuario costruito tra il 1612 e il 1631. Nel suo interno,nel chiostro di destra ci sono custoditi numerosi ex-voto a tema marinaro, sono uno spaccato della storia dei camogliesi. Il Santuario curatissimo è un' oasi di pace e di raccoglimento.
