★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oggetto della devozione è un affresco di fine 1400 che ritrae la Madonna con il Bambino, affresco inizialmente ospitato in una piccola cappella campestre. Secondo la tradizione, ai suoi piedi un ufficiale spagnolo chiese la grazia di poter riacquistare la vista persa in battaglia: la scena è raffigurata nella lunetta sopra il portale principale.
L'attuale edificio è frutto di lavori che tra il 1913 ed il 1930 hanno completamente trasformato il primitivo santuario a croce greca innalzato alla metà del Seicento intorno a quella cappella.
Anche gli affreschi sulle pareti e nella cupola sono del 1900 realizzati dal torinese Piero Dalle Ceste.
Lodevole il fatto che sia visitabile anche al di fuori degli orari liturgici.
Object of Devotion is a fresco by the end of 1400 that depicts the Madonna and Child, fresco initially housed in a small country chapel. According to tradition, at his feet a Spanish officer asked for the grace to regain lost sight in battle: the scene is depicted in the lunette above the main portal.
The current building is the result of work that between 1913 and 1930 have completely transformed the primitive sanctuary Greek cross lifted up to the middle of the seventeenth century around that chapel.
Even the frescoes on the walls and in the dome 1900 are realized by the Turin Piero Dalle Ceste.
Commendable the fact that it is also open to outside of the liturgical times.

Anche qui la sede di un miracolo ricevuto e di un devoto ringraziamento del miracolato, questo un tempo. Oggi la tendenza, purtroppo, è quella del "tutto mi è dovuto" e i ringraziamenti sono solo ricordi. Ho incontrato nelle strade limitrofe diverse persone a passeggio con i nipotini o sole: persone serene e sorridenti che non negano un saluto. Practically a gem located on the outskirts of the town, surrounded by greenery and in a respectful silence also given the proximity of the Camposanto.
