La costruzione venne eseguita tra il 1752 e il 1780.
La facciata è in stile neoclassico.
L'interno è ad unica navata in stile neoclassico.
Le caratteristiche principali della chiesa sono:
- pala d'altare "Polittico Averoldi" di Tiziano e cornice del Vantini
- opere del Moretto
- opera in sagrestia del Romanino
- opere scultoree del Callegari.

The church of Saints Nazaro and Celso is located in the historic center of Brescia.
The construction was carried out between 1752 and 1780.
The facade is in neoclassical style.
The interior has a single nave in neoclassical style.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ...questa Chiesa dei Santi Nazaro e Celso è una chiesa di Brescia...si trova in Corso Giacomo Matteotti...all'incrocio con via Fratelli Bronzetti!!!...la facciata è decisamente imponente!!!...si dice che sia stata ricostruita su un edificio preesistente!!!... è oggi un grande esempio di architettura neoclassica!!!... e è una delle più grandi Chiese della città di Brescia!!!...la Chiesa è dedicata ai due Santi di epoca romana: Nazaro...cittadino romano e discepolo di San Pietro che battezzerà Celso che era di origine francese e moriranno insieme durante le persecuzioni di Diocleziano!!!...si possono ammirare numerose e preziose opere d'arte...fra le quali spicca il Polittico Averoldi...capolavoro giovanile di Tiziano che ho visto salendo dietro l'altare perchè era coperto dal telo viola in segno della Quaresima!!!...l'interno è molto luminoso!!!...si presenta a navata unica con cinque cappelle minori per lato!!!...sicuramente merita una visita se ci si trova da quelle parti!!!...
... this Church of Saints Nazaro and Celso is a church in Brescia ... it is located in Corso Giacomo Matteotti ... at the crossroads with via Fratelli Bronzetti !!! ... the facade is very impressive !!! .. . it is said that it was rebuilt on a pre-existing building !!! ... it is today a great example of neoclassical architecture !!! ... and it is one of the largest churches in the city of Brescia !!! ... the Church is dedicated to the two saints of the Roman era: Nazaro ... Roman citizen and disciple of St. Peter who will baptize Celsus who was of French origin and will die together during the persecutions of Diocletian !!! ... you can admire numerous and precious works of art ... among which the Averoldi Polyptych stands out ... a youthful masterpiece by Titian that I saw going up behind the altar because it was covered by the purple cloth as a sign of Lent !!! ... the interior is very bright! !! ... it has a single nave with five minor chapels on each side !!! ... definitely worth a visit if you are in those parts !!! ...
