In my view, the old cathedral is more interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful building in a plaza with lots of good food and drink options nearby. The old church dates from about 1,000AD and the new one was built over approximately 200 years!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice but beware of the super long lunch break, 12-15 they're closed. It's worth a visit to go see both the new and the old cathedral. It's very interesting to see how the new cathedral the marble is cracked all around due to the several wars witnessed by the city. The old church has some beautiful frescoes behind the altar that are definitely worth checking!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful and magnificent. The Duomo Nuovo or New Cathedral is the largest Catholic church in Brescia. Construction was begun in 1604 at the site. Work slowly but sporadically restarted on construction, the final completion came in the nineteenth century. The present dome was rebuilt after destruction during the World War II.
