 Beautiful baroque church that offers a diversion to the austerity of the Capitolium thanks also to its elaborate gate. Unfortunately I was unable to visit the interior.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Accanto ai resti del Capitolium, antica chiesa romanica ricostruita nei primi decenni del Settecento preceduta da un piccolo sagrato chiuso da una elegante cancellata in ferro con pilastri marmorei sormontati da putti, cherubini e delfini attorcigliati.
Next to the remains of the Capitolium, an ancient Romanesque church rebuilt in the early decades of the eighteenth century preceded by a small churchyard enclosed by an elegant iron gate with marble pilasters surmounted by putti, cherubim and twisted dolphins.

La struttura venne ricostruita intorno al 1745, sui resti di un'altra chiesa.
La facciata é in stile settecentesco, preceduta da un interessante cancello.
L'interno é ad unica navata, a pianta longitudinale, in stile tardo barocco.
Le caratteristiche principali di questa chiesa sono:
- l'altare maggiore;
- le quattro cappelle contenti pale dipinte da Antonio Paglia.
Ingresso: libero.
The San Zeno al Foro is located in the square hole, Brescia.
The structure was rebuilt around 1745 on the ruins of another church.
The facade is in eighteenth-century style, preceded by an interesting gate.
The interior is a single nave, a longitudinal plan, in late Baroque style.

- the four chapels containing altarpieces painted by Antonio Paglia.

La chiesa di San Zeno al Foro situata in via Musei, proprio davanti al Capitolium, sfoggia una bella facciata barocca con alla base una ringhiera abbellita da sculture marmoree.
Al suo interno conserva numerose opere d'arte (specie le pregiate pale degli altari), pitture su tela, gruppi scultorei, stalli lignei ed un notevole organo a canne; opere di artisti della scuola bresciana.
Accesso libero e gratuito.

The church of San Zeno al Foro located in via Musei, right in front of the Capitolium, has a beautiful Baroque facade with a railing at the base embellished with marble sculptures.
Inside it preserves numerous works of art (especially the precious altarpieces), paintings on canvas, sculptural groups, wooden stalls and a remarkable pipe organ; works by artists of the Brescia school.
