L'edificio attuale sorse tra il 1751 e il 1763, ad opera dell'architetto Domenico corbellini.
La facciata é slanciata, divisa in due ordini: - quella inferiore é di ordine corinzio;
- quello superiore é di ordine in semplice.
L'interno é ad unica navata, a pianta rettangolare in stile tardo barocco.
Le caratteristiche interessanti di questa chiesa sono:
- La cupola ottagonale;
- l'atmosfera accogliente data dalle tonalitá giallo ocra dei marmi all'interno;
- altare maggiore;
- l' altare della Madonna della provvidenza, con i cherubini fatti da Antonio callegari.
Ingresso: libero.
Orari:
- dal lunedì al venerdi: 7:30-10:30 16:00-18:00;
- sabato: 7:30-10:30 16:00-19:30;
- domenica: 9:30-11:00 (da aprile a settembre) 16:00-19:30.
The church of San Lorenzo is located in via Moretto, in Brescia.
The current building was built between 1751 and 1763, by the architect Domenico Corbellini.
The facade is slender, divided into two orders: - the lower one is of the Corinthian order;
- the upper one is of order in simple.
The interior has a single nave, with a rectangular plan in late Baroque style.
The interesting features of this church are:
- The octagonal dome;
- the welcoming atmosphere given by the yellow ocher tones of the marbles inside;
- main altar;
- the altar of the Madonna della provididenza, with the cherubs made by Antonio callegari.
Free admission.

- Saturday: 7: 30-10: 30 16: 00-19: 30;

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È la chiesa della mia infanzia, ci ritorno sempre volentieri, L'altare della Madonna della Provvidenza è bellissimo ornato di marmi pregiati e di miniature in marmo.
Pregevole l'altare maggiore e la pala di san Lorenzo, l'altare degli Angeli e quello dedicato a san Biagio. . Di fronte all'altare della Madonna quello del Crocifisso.

La facciata esterna è bella, purtroppo all'interno e abbastanza anonima e mal tenuta.
