Probabilmente, nel 1938 subì un crollo e fu recuperata dal Comune divenendo sala espositiva.
The former church of Santa Rita da Cascia, was designed by Carlo Fontana in 1665.
Probably, in 1938 it suffered a collapse and was recovered by the Municipality, becoming an exhibition hall.

A tiny but precious space in the heart of Rome, between the Theater of Marcellus and the Jewish Ghetto, used by the Municipality to set up unusual and never predictable exhibitions (especially installations), strictly with free admission. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Эта церковь стояла около Капитолийского холма и мешала строительству Викториано. Решено было ее разобрать и переместить на то место, где она находится сейчас. И как это обычно это случается в Риме, под под ней нашли хорошо сохранившиеся остатки инсулы ( древнеримского жилого дома). Если смотреть на комплекс Викториано, то справа от него вы увидите единственный в Риме сохранившийся жилой дом империи.
This church stood near Capitol Hill and impeded the construction of Victoriano. It was decided to disassemble it and move it to the place where it is now. And as is usually the case in Rome, beneath it were found well-preserved remains of insula (an ancient Roman apartment building). If you look at the Victoriano complex, then to the right of it you will see the only preserved imperial apartment house in Rome.
