★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La parte antica, posta perpendicolarmente dietro l'altare della chiesa moderna, risale in origine al IV° secolo quando Cerveteri era sede Vescovile. Fu poi riedificata in stile romanico e in seguito pavimentata in stile cosmatesco. Le colonne provengono da templi pagani, ciò spiega la loro varietà.
The ancient part, placed perpendicularly behind the altar of the modern church, dates back to the fourth century when Cerveteri was the Episcopal seat. It was then rebuilt in Romanesque style and then paved in cosmatesco style. The columns come from pagan temples, which explains their variety.

La visita è resa più interessante dalle notizie fornite all'interno delle tombe in alcuni tumuli.
All'ingresso è fornita una piantina per seguire il percorso ed un telecomando per attivare il sistema di luci e voce per le spiegazioni.
Site to visit, very large, well managed.
The visit is made more interesting by the information provided inside the tombs in some mounds.
At the entrance there is a map to follow the route and a remote control to activate the light and voice system for explanations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima la parte più antica della chiesa che si raggiunge al termine della navata. La mattina il sole entrq dalle finestre in alto e creano degli splendidi giochi di luce tra le colonne e le pareti. Interessanti le porzioni di pavimenti in marmi romani esposte alle pareti.
The oldest part of the church is very beautiful and can be reached at the end of the nave. In the morning the sun enters from the windows at the top and create splendid plays of light between the columns and the walls. The portions of floors in Roman marble on the walls are interesting.
