Peccato che sia chiusa e non aperta al culto a Dio Padre Onnipotente. Wonderful! Il singolare appellativo"inter-vineas",secondo la tradizione, sarebbe originato dal rinvenimento tra le vigne di Campo Parignano di una icona della Madonna che poi, trasportata in città diede luogo alla edificazione di una chiesa. Secondo altri la denominazione deriverebbe dall'essere stata costruita all'estremità della piazza delle Scaie ( l'attuale piazza del Popolo) dove crescevano delle vigne. Molto probabilmente ebbe tale denominazione perché costruita inter vias. One of the oldest churches in the city of Ascoli. L’aspetto esterno della chiesa ha un che di decadente, quasi trascurato, d’altronde Ascoli Piceno detiene una serie di chiese bellissime e penso non sia semplice conservare tutto.
