S	Sabino Papagna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non solo la chiesa ma tutto il complesso monastico domenicano che ingloba anche l'istituto tecnico Umberto I dove è visibile, nell'ex chiostro, un seicentesco ciclo di affreschi sulla vita di Santa Caterina da Siena. Quello che colpisce nell'interno della chiesa è la luminosità e l'austera architettura gotica nonostante gli interventi di epoca barocca. Notevole la stratificazione artistico architettonica che va dagli affreschi di epoca medioevale e rinascimentali agli altari settecenteschi con sculture e grandi tele di artisti di scuola locale. Da visitare anche la sacrestia e una esposizione dedicata all'Annunciazione ed infine, percorrendo il perimetro esterno dell'isolato, la prospettiva di architettura razionalista, con caratteristiche celebrative del periodo, dell'istituto tecnico che, purtroppo, nel "ventennio" del '900 si è sovrapposto in sostituzione del monastero Not only the church but the whole Dominican monastic complex which also includes the Umberto I technical institute where, in the former cloister, a seventeenth-century cycle of frescoes on the life of Saint Catherine of Siena is visible. What is striking in the interior of the church is the brightness and the austere Gothic architecture despite the Baroque interventions. The artistic and architectural stratification is remarkable, ranging from medieval and Renaissance frescoes to eighteenth-century altars with sculptures and large paintings by local school artists. Also worth visiting is the sacristy and an exhibition dedicated to the Annunciation and finally, along the external perimeter of the block, the perspective of rationalist architecture, with characteristics celebrating the period, of the technical institute which, unfortunately, in the "twenty years" of the 1900s it overlapped to replace the monastery
