★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella piccola Chiesa del 1600 in centro. All'estero, sulla parete laterale esterna è una bella meridiana e, al di sotto, la bellissima "Fontana dei cani" in travertino.
Beautiful small church from the 1600s in the center. Abroad, on the external side wall there is a beautiful sundial and, below, the beautiful Travertine "Fountain of the Dogs".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella e particolare, da vedere. All'interno c'è la pala d'altare con San Nicola di Bari, ritenuto il capolavoro di Ludovico Trasi; da non perdere il primo organo Callido d'Italia (opus 3); l'imponente pala d'altare raffigurante San Cristoforo del Correggiolo (sec. XVI).
Beautiful and special, to see. Inside there is the altarpiece with St. Nicholas of Bari, considered the masterpiece of Ludovico Trasi; don't miss the first Callido organ in Italy (opus 3); the imposing altarpiece depicting San Cristoforo del Correggiolo (16th century).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorprendente il contrasto, in questa piccola chiesa, tra l'architettura dell'esterno, assai povera e priva di elementi significativi (salvo la meridiana e la modesta fontana detta popolarmente "dei cani" addossata al suo fianco meridionale) e la ricchezza dell'apparato pittorico e decorativo interno che presenta tre begli altari giosafatteschi e alcuni dipinti di epoca barocca di ottima fattura:
1 - "Il miracolo di San Nicola di Bari" di Lodovico Trasi (altare di destra)
2 - "Le anime purganti" di Nicola Monti (parete di destra)
3 - "San Cristoforo" di Venceslao Corrigioli (altare maggiore)
4 - "La Madonna delle Sette Spade", opera più modesta rispetto alle altre, di anonimo del Settecento.
La piccola chiesa custidisce inoltre le spoglie mortali di San Fulgenzio Martire.
Surprising the contrast, in this small church, between the architecture of the exterior, very poor and devoid of significant elements (except the sundial and the modest fountain commonly called "of the dogs" leaning against its southern side) and the richness of the apparatus interior painting and decoration which has three beautiful altars giosafatteschi and some Baroque paintings of excellent workmanship:
1 - "The Miracle of St. Nicholas of Bari" Lodovico Trasi (right altar)
2 - "Le purgante souls" by Nicola Monti (right wall)
3 - "Saint Christopher" by Venceslao Corrigioli (high altar)
4 - "The Madonna of the Seven Swords", operates more modest than the other, anonymous eighteenth century.
The small church also guards the mortal remains of San Fulgenzio Martire.
