★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This church attracts lots of people to see the Bocca della Verità (Mouth of Truth), which is located in its portico. It was founded in the 6th century and it still has some great pieces, like the beautiful floor mosaics and the medieval choir enclosure. And, allegedly, St Valentine's skull. The church's bell tower is the tallest medieval belfry in Rome. There's a crypt from the 8th century, built to store the relics taken from the catacombs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not easy to find this place using Google maps. Information given on maps like contact no. and timings are also not up to date because pf which wasn't able to visit from inside but the main attraction of this place is Oceanus which you can see from outside as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An incredible church with ancient history in its subterranean chambers. Pleasantly surprised to find St Valentine's skull grinning back at me from an altar. Extremely long queue for the Mouth of Truth at the front, didn't try that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kinda cool. If you happen to wander over after seeing the Coloseum you may not have to wait in line too long. Its a fairly short walk to the Jewish district.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Famous for the Audrey Hepburn's movie Roman Holiday where she sticks her hand inside the mouth of the wheel face, I have to say it is a bit of a deception and this stop can be given a pass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small, but very beautiful church. Modest, not filled with the gold as the other ones, have incredible charm.
In the front there is very popular tourist attraction called The Mouth of Truth and in the lobby of the church there is a great souvenir store - very different from the others around - with completely different magnets, postcards, keychains, rosaries etc., than in any other touristic part of Rome.
