Marzano di San Giuseppe porta a Grottaglie, se si pone molta attenzione, si noterà sulla destra un cartello, abbastanza sbiadito, che indica il Santuario della Madonna delle Grazie. Seguendo l'indicazione, l'unica costruzione che si vede chiaramente è un'antica e bella masseria che sorge sui bordi di una tipica e rocciosa 'lama pugliese'. Siete quasi arrivati al Santuario che è nelle vicinanze. Non aspettatevi nulla che possa evocare il termine 'Santuario'. Vi immergerete in un parco con molto verde, abbastanza ben curato e, seguendo le indicazioni, arriverete in un posto veramente magico... La chiesa rupestre di Santa Maria delle Grazie. È magica l'atmosfera che vi si respira, tipica di un luogo di culto antico. È magica la serenità che si diffonde tutt'intorno. È magico il rispetto per il luogo che si impadronirà di voi nel momento in cui scenderete le scale per entrare nel suggestivo Santuario rupestre. Non aspettatevi di incontrare Religiosi, se ci sono probabilmente non li vedrete, come è successo a noi. L'interno della chiesa era soffusamente e discretamente illuminato ma la porta a vetri era chiusa. Abbiamo provato ad abbassare la maniglia e la porta si è aperta permettendoci di visitare la chiesa in piena autonomia... Diteci se non è magia anche questa. Da non mancare. Respect for the place that will take hold of you is magical when you go down the stairs to enter the suggestive rock sanctuary. Don't expect to meet Religious, if they are there you probably won't see them, as has happened to us. The interior of the church was softly and discreetly lit but the glass door was closed. We tried to lower the handle and the door opened allowing us to visit the church in full autonomy ... Tell us if this is not magic too. Not to be missed.
