★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un monastero affascinante in posizione isolata sulle colline intorno a Bivongi. L’esterno appare molto curato e con forme tipiche dello stile bizantino. All’interno diverse icone e testimonianze della religione Ortodossa, oltre a un grande lampadario, e altre decorazioni dal valore storico. La posizione isolata immersa nella natura e la sua bellezza e valore, ripagano della visita, in questo remoto quanto antico angolo di Calabria.
A charming monastery isolated in the hills around Bivongi. The exterior appears very neat and with forms typical of the Byzantine style. Inside, several icons and testimonies of the Orthodox religion, as well as a large chandelier, and other decorations of historical value. The isolated position surrounded by nature and its beauty and value, pay off the visit, in this remote and ancient corner of Calabria.

Si entra per entrare in contatto con la propria spiritualità, per meditare sui nostri comportamenti, per riappacificarci con i vivi in conflitto e con l'ambiente deturpato dalla nostra insipienza e per rinsaldare il ricordo con i nostri cari che da poco o da tanto non ci sono più e che in questo luogo sentiamo accanto. Grazie ai Monaci che hanno ricostruito questo luogo e lo curano e lo custodiscono per noi tutti. Da visitare
