★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piatti tradizionali, ben cucinati e serviti con il sorriso. Bel posticino dove fare una sosta dopo una lunga passeggiata o la dura salita in bici per arrivare a Sella Carnizza.
 Traditional dishes, well cooked and served with a smile. Nice little place to stop after a long walk or the tough bike ride to get to Sella Carnizza.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ il locale giusto nel posto giusto: rustico per un passo alpino poco frequentato del Friuli. La strada si presta soprattutto per andarci in moto: di solito si inizia partendo da Resia facendo ripide rampe con tornanti per poi scendere verso Uccea per una strada MOLTO stretta ma asfaltata di fresco e dalla pendenza dolce e costante. La strada non è percorribile d'inverno. Il locale é il punto ideale per una pausa a metà strada ed essendo il passo una sella cioè senza una zona pianeggiante da passeggiare, non resta che stare comodamente seduti bevendo e mangiando qualcosa in santa pace.
the right place in the right place: rustic for a little frequented Alpine pass in Friuli. The road is especially suitable for riding a motorbike: usually you start from Resia making steep ramps with hairpin bends and then descend towards Uccea for a VERY narrow but freshly paved road with a gentle and constant slope. The road is not passable in winter. The restaurant is the ideal point for a half-way break and since the pass is a saddle, that is, without a flat area to walk around, you just have to sit comfortably, drinking and eating something in peace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chanced upon this gorgeous little 'local' restaurant while driving from Italy to Bovec in Slovenia. It was like an oasis, in an almost no man's land.
We were planning on having a hearty lunch, but they do not accept cards and we weren't carrying too much cash, so we ended up having chocolate pancakes and coffee. Loved them both.
Highly recommend this place.
