Il risultato è stato un soggiorno di due settimane piacevolissime di totale relax, alternando la giornata tra lo splendido mare a pochi minuti di macchina con la quiete che solo la campagna può offrire. E poi, le magnifiche colazioni preparate da Donna Vittoria (la mamma), gli splendidi borghi nelle vicinanze e, volendo, le cene preparate con prodotti genuini, la piscina tra gli alberi con un magnifico prato e tanto altro ancora. Pasquale, the owner, has managed to combine his professional skills in the recovery of an old farm, respecting a rural but refined building (as a sensitive architect), with careful management of the structure where guests are satisfied for every need. . The result was a pleasant two-week stay of total relaxation, alternating the day between the splendid sea a few minutes by car with the quiet that only the countryside can offer. Douche cabine is oud, slechte verlichting en geen plek om je spullen neer te zetten. Ontbijt is heel eenvoudig, veel zoet geen yoghurt en op dag 2 was er eigenlijk geen ei. Die is de mevr uiteindelijk toch maar gaan bakken. Bij uitzondering kon er op dag 1 een lunch gemaakt worden erg vriendelijk maar voor een bordje opgewarmde pasta €18 pp te vragen is ver over de top. Voor een restaurant moet je naar Stilo een mooi dorpje maar in de avond wel een nare weg door de bergen. Simple B&B with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. Un luogo rilassante, ben curato,con piscina, 40 posto letto e un'ottimo ristorante all aperto. Ovviamente cucina casareccia km0! Luogo adatto a tutti!!! Delightful. La natura, la tenuta, i dintorni, fanno letteralmente dimenticare la città e la routine, ma è la qualità di quello che viene ‘offerto’ a fare la differenza: alloggi puliti in modo maniacale, appartamenti attrezzati e corredati di tutto il necessario, cibo tipico ma genuino e vario, cordialità ed accoglienza, silenzio ed efficienza, rendono questo luogo un’eccellenza. Adatto a grandi e piccini, basta a se stesso ma se si vuole consente di raggiungere luoghi interessanti e rinomati (stilo, locri) o meno noti ma di altrettanto pregio (Santa Caterina dello Ionio). Il proprietario, don Pasquale, è una persona intelligente, capace, umana e seria: da bravo calabrese sa mettere tutti a proprio agio e da sognatore ha trasformato in risorsa un luogo che altrimenti sarebbe scomparso. Andateci. Nulla da invidiare a strutture più blasonate ma che credetemi avrebbero solo da imparare da una gestione come questa!!! The owner, Don Pasquale, is an intelligent, capable, human and serious person: as a good Calabrian he knows how to put everyone at ease and as a dreamer he has transformed a place that otherwise would have disappeared into a resource. One evening we joined Mamma Vittoria's 4 course dinner - it was incredibly delicious and made of homegrown ingredients. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday!
