★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cercavamo un Ristorante tipico della cucina calabrese e a Guardavalle Marina abbiamo trovato il Ristorante Borgorosso, dove si degustano prodotti a km zero, perché coltivati e/o allevati dai proprietari. Materia prima di altissima qualità.
Abbiamo assaggiato il loro squisito antipasto casereccio con salumi, formaggi, conserve sott’olio dai sapori di una volta. Poi una parmigiana di melanzane un po’ rivisitata ma molto gustosa e le crocchette di riso molto saporite. Un primo col loro pomodoro fresco ed uno allo scoglio, desiderio della bambina, entrambe rigorosamente con pasta fresca, squisiti. Poi una grigliata di carne dal sapore delizioso e cotta egregiamente, qualche buona birra ed infine tartufi di Pizzo ed amaro locale.
C’è anche una particolarità: un menu di degustazione diverso per ogni giorno della settimana.
Proprietà e staff cordiali e disponibili, locale semplice ma ben curato, parcheggio comodo e di facile accesso mediante una rampa anche a chi ha difficoltà motorie.
Si è rivelata un’ottima scelta. Torneremo presto. Bravi
We were looking for a typical restaurant of Calabrian cuisine and in Guardavalle Marina we found the Borgorosso restaurant, where you can taste products at zero km, because they are grown and / or raised by the owners. Raw material of the highest quality.
We tasted their delicious homemade appetizer with cold cuts, cheeses, preserves in oil with the flavors of the past. Then a slightly revisited but very tasty eggplant parmigiana and very tasty rice croquettes. A first course with their fresh tomato and one with seafood, the child's desire, both strictly with fresh pasta, exquisite. Then a grilled meat with a delicious flavor and cooked very well, some good beer and finally Pizzo truffles and local bitters.
There is also a peculiarity: a different tasting menu for each day of the week.
Friendly and helpful owners and staff, simple but well-kept restaurant, convenient parking and easy access via a ramp even for those with walking difficulties.
It turned out to be an excellent choice. We will be back soon. Well done
