★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meta perfetta per passeggiate, scampagnate, ritiro meditativi. Si raggiunge da una strada sterrata (incrocio poco prima di Celsa). Vale la pena fare a piedi l'ultimo tratto, comunque una sbarra impedisce di avvicinarsi con i mezzi. È chiusa, in alcuni periodi è utilizzata da gruppi e comunità. Aspetto romanico, l'interno è spoglio. Caratteristico il campanile separato dalla struttura, davanti alla facciata. Poco lontano, seguendo un sentiero nel bosco, si raggiunge il Romitorio del Cetinale
Perfect destination for walks, outings, meditative retreats. It can be reached by a dirt road (intersection just before Celsa). It is worth walking the last stretch, however a barrier prevents you from approaching by public transport. It is closed, in some periods it is used by groups and communities. Romanesque appearance, the interior is bare. Characteristic is the bell tower separated from the structure, in front of the facade. Not far away, following a path in the woods, you reach the Romitorio del Cetinale

Visitata grazie alle iniziative della proloco di Sovicille.
La strada per arrivarci in auto è uno sterrato un po' tortuoso e in condizioni non ottimali.
Vale comunque la pena di arrivarci, se si è certi di trovarla aperta.
Suggestive Romanesque church immersed in the hills and woods.
Visited thanks to the initiatives of the Sovicille Proloco.
The road to get there by car is a somewhat winding dirt road and in less than optimal conditions.
However, it is worth getting there, if you are sure to find it open.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un posto magico. Da vedere assolutamente l'interno della chiesa quando vi è la possibilità (Sovicille delle Meraviglie, per esempio!).
In foto il Romitorio, che si può raggiungere a piedi da Pernina, con pochi passi.
A magical place. Absolutely to see the inside of the church when there is the possibility (Sovicille delle Meraviglie, for example!).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima chiesa ben mantenuta. Peccato fosse chiusa a Ferragosto. Bel prato e bel panorama fino a Siena e oltre. Sentiero verso il Romitorio di Cetinale
Beautiful well maintained church. Too bad it was closed in August. Beautiful lawn and beautiful panorama up to Siena and beyond. Path towards the hermitage of Cetinale
