β β β β β Great picnic place with a nice view on a river, roman bridge and theatre. Nice selection of cheese and other snacks to be consumed with wine on the tarrace on the back or take away. I loved the place and i will go back if i visit town again.

β β β β β This was one of my favorite food stops in Verona in summer of 2018. The salumeria has an impressive selection of cured meats and cheeses as well as a beautiful secret backdrop patio overlooking the river and bridge. I recommend this little salumeria to everyone!

β β β β β We were having a drink at the bar across the road when we noticed the huge wheels of cheese in the window of Salumeria Gironda. We just had to go and check it out - and weβre so glad we did! A huge selection of cured meats, cheeses and accompaniments to choose from with great recommendations from the staff. They pack all of the goodies up into a picnic basket (wine included, of course!) and you take it out into a beautiful courtyard overlooking the river. Itβs the perfect setting to relax and enjoy such amazing produce with a spectacular backdrop. A highlight of Verona for us!

β β β β β From its location you might mistake Gironda for a tourist trap and you would be dead wrong. Here you will find a vast selection of outstanding cheese, prepared meats, bread, and specialty food products. Outstanding quality at fair prices! There is a beautiful veranda where you can picknic while taking in a breathtaking view of the Adige, Ponte Pietra and Castel San Pietro. Gironda is a must stop in Verona. The grana padano and burata are particilarly delectable. As is the speck.

β β β β β If you love cheese this is a must stop. I had no idea what I stumbled on when I walked in but wow what a great surprise. Friendly, helpful staff and a fabulous selection. Be sure to take some treats out back & enjoy the view of the Adige River.
