Siamo arrivati in questo ristorante girando a piedi per le viette della città, è un po' nascosto però era stato posizionato un cartello per segnalare la presenza dell'osteria. Subito abbiamo apprezzato la cura nell'allestimento della sala e dei tavoli che davano un'aria accogliente e graziosa a tutto l'ambiente. Il personale gentilissimo ci ha coccolati con la loro attenzione e competenza. Buonissima la tartare con uovo croccante dell'antipasto, superiore a tutte quelle che ho assaggiato fino ad ora, gli gnocchi di castagna talmente favolosi che non ho perso tempo a fotografarli, per poi finire in bellezza con un lemon curd gustosissimo, il tutto annaffiato da un ottimo vino consigliato direttamente da loro. Sono andata a cena con il mio compagno che ha ordinato come primo piatto il mezzo rigatone alla vaccinara con spuma di sedano, da leccarsi i baffi, e visto che la preparazione richiedeva un tempo leggermente più lungo ci hanno portato un assaggio del taco con bollito a riprova dell'attenzione e la cura del cliente. Devo dire che questo ristorante è stata una sorpresa sotto tutti i punti di vista per noi che ci siamo capitati per caso, anche il conto perfettamente in linea con tutta l'esperienza fatta, che abbiamo ritenuto assolutamente giusto. Che altro dire ? Andateci ve lo consigliamo! Absolutely a mouth-watering dinner in a location with attention to detail. We arrived at this restaurant by walking through the narrow streets of the city, it is a bit hidden but a sign was placed to signal the presence of the tavern. We immediately appreciated the care in setting up the room and the tables that gave a welcoming and graceful air to the whole environment. The very kind staff pampered us with their attention and competence. The starter's tartare with crunchy egg is very good, superior to all those I have tasted so far, the chestnut gnocchi so fabulous that I didn't waste time photographing them, and then finished in style with a very tasty lemon curd, all washed down with an excellent wine recommended directly by them. I went to dinner with my partner who ordered as a first course the half rigatone alla vaccinara with celery mousse, mouth-watering, and since the preparation took a slightly longer time they brought us a taste of the taco with boiled meat. proof of the attention and care of the customer. I must say that this restaurant was a surprise from all points of view for us who happened to be there by chance, even the bill perfectly in line with the whole experience, which we considered absolutely right. La cucina offre un menù con una selezione di piatti ricercati sia di terra che di mare, e un menù con una selezione di sushi molto particolare. Da amanti sia della cucina occidentale sia di quella giapponese, abbiamo deciso di assaggiare piatti da entrambi i menù e siano rimasti veramente colpiti da ogni singola portata. La cucina inoltre ci ha coccolati con alcuni piccoli assaggi extra, tra cui nigiri di anatra con salsa barbecue e nigiri di picaña con senape all'antica veramente particolari e apprezzati. Qualità della carne e del pesce veramente sopra la media, ingredienti abbinati perfettamente tra loro. Menzione speciale per il gestore: preparato, gentile e simpaticissimo. Ha saputo consigliarci un vino a dir poco eccezionale con cui accompagnare il pasto (grazie ancora! Sicuramente lo acquisteriemo per gustarlo anche a casa!). Dulcis in fundo, un conto per niente alto per la qualità e la quantità delle portate. Se passate a Viterbo, una visita è d'obbligo! Nice and well-kept location. The kitchen offers a menu with a selection of refined dishes from both land and sea, and a menu with a very particular selection of sushi. As lovers of both Western and Japanese cuisine, we decided to sample dishes from both menus and were really impressed with every single course. The kitchen also pampered us with some little extra bites, including duck nigiri with barbecue sauce and picaña nigiri with old-fashioned mustard really special and appreciated. Quality of meat and fish really above average, ingredients perfectly matched to each other. Special mention for the manager: prepared, kind and very nice. He was able to recommend a wine to say the least exceptional with which to accompany the meal (thanks again! We will certainly buy it to enjoy it at home too!). Last but not least, an account that is not at all high for the quality and quantity of the courses. If you go to Viterbo, a visit is a must!
