Cams as soon as the store opened to try the mix platter of farinata and tarts for €10. Wasn't placed on the plate in the most appealing way, but every bite of it was delicious. Wished I had tried the tiramisu as well as it smell absolutely amazing as I was walking out of the restaurant.

After reading the reviews on Google I decided to visit this place and it totally worth it. The Pesto was really good as well the tiramisu, we wanted to try other specialties however the menu was in Italian and the staff didn’t speak English. It is a place full of locals.

The food was ok. Happened to walk by this place by accident. Amazing cueuing experience with locals jumping in to provide tips on what to try! Still, pretty limited and basic on the most “iconic dishes”, some of which were quite tasty yet nothing extraordinary. The staff was also super nice, patient and accommodating to non Italian speaking customers.

Tasty but overpriced - €20 for one farinata, a slice of torte and tap water, I know it's a historic place but that's a lot of money for flour, water and a slice of quiche!

Wonderful and authentic place. Our meal here was very memorable. We ordered octopus dish that tasted so fresh! My friends got their sample platter which was a great idea. Definitely visiting this place again! The staff does not speak English but they were very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Extremely delicious food. The waiters inside were very friendly. Sadly the experience was slightly ruined by the lady who was seating people in the restaurant. Despite the fact that I had been in the queue for more than 30 mins (there were three groups in front of me) and she came out twice to take stock of the people queueing, she completely ignored me even though the groups in front and at the back of me signalled that I needed to be seated too and I raised my hand saying one person when she asked for the numbers in each group. When it was finally our turn, she went ahead to seat the group in front of me, completely ignored me then proceeded to seat the group behind me. I then asked for my turn and she said I needed to join the queue. Luckily the group behind me spoke up for me and said I had been in front of them all along. It was only then that she reluctantly let me sit. Not sure if this had anything to do with racism (I was the only non-European looking person in the restaurant) but the only time she looked directly at me was when the Italian group behind spoke up for me. It was weird to be completely passed over like I didn't exist. The food was delicious of course, but next time I'll just do takeaway. Not worth the aggravation.

Typical Genovese food, home made with care. All locals eating. Simple, rustic and special.

Delicious Genovese food! I’m so glad I stumbled upon this place. I ordered a small farinita, but I wish I ordered the bigger one. It was a delicious fried dish with cheese! For my dinner, I ordered the trofie al pesto! Such a great meal!
