★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice décoration and cosy place. The menu doesn't have a lot of options but is still enaugh to satisfy all tastes (gluten free, and vegetarian options as well)
The lasagna and the lamb were very good, and the meet is very tender.
Dessert was correct.
The staff was friendly, and if you are a tourist they speak English and French.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful place very nearby Piazza de Ferrari. They have an English menu with a brief explanation of the dishes, which is great for those who are not too familiar with Italian food/ language. The food is good, but not mindblowing. They do have a fine selection of wine and a bottle costs only 15€. The service is like most places in Liguria: a little cold. All things considered, it's a great place to eat some tipical Ligurian food. However, we did expected a bit more from the service from a place with these prices. For example, it happened that the one of us was clearly still eating desert and that the waiters asked twice if he was done already.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly the best lasagna we ever had. We went there to try the Pesto genovese, as we have never been in Genova before, and it was a perfect decision. The place is cozy, yet gets very crowded very soon (it opened 12:30, we got there before it opened, and around 1pm it was already completely full). The wine was perfect, the food was really amazing (and we are very picky) and the people working there are really great (yes, English speaking also, and they were really kind and helpful). It is definitely a place I'd visit again if I'm ever back in Genova.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had dinner at this place close to Piazza Raffaele De Ferrari. The restaurant is really nice inside.
We tried to take a table outside, but they were all reserved. Our arrival time was about 8pm. So I’d recommend to reserve a table. Between 8pm and 9pm the place got full and some people even have to leave since there were no tables available.
We got water, bread and focaccia while we waited our food. We order Trofie al pesto, which is one of the many Italian pasta dishes known all over the world. It's one of the most famous dish of traditional Ligurian cuisine, made with basil pesto and trofie pasta.
We also order a glass of wine, recommended by the waiter for that particular dish.
Everything was delicious, service and waiters were also really nice.
This place is more than recommended. Debit/card accepted. 40 euros everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I give them 1 star, although their food was fine and the staff are nice and kind. But it took me a looong time untile they let me in (although I have called and reserved the place hours before). And again a loooong time to take my order, a looooong time until they bring my food. Apparently it wasn’t enough so also a looooooong time to bring the check! I understand that they were busy but customers patience has limits, too! I was almost shocked! Anywa the food is good but the price is higher than other places. Try to go there early in the eveing maybe you can have a better experience than I did!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vi amiamo!! One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Amazing spot & well balanced ingredients. The wine is fabulous, too.. It was sooo delicious. We were full but we couldn't leave without a third course and it was worth it! :)
