La facciata é a onda, molto interessante.
Purtroppo non posso dare più di una stellina perché trovata chiusa.
The Orthodox Church of San Giorgio is located in a very suggestive square.
The facade is wave-shaped, very interesting.
Unfortunately I can't give more than one star because it was found closed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di S. Giorgio è stata edificata all'interno della Fortezza Vecchia di Corfù nel 1840 , durante il protettorato inglese (1814-1864) , per esaudire le esigenze religiose dei militari inglesi di stanza nell'isola , convertita in seguito al culto ortodosso .
The church of S. Giorgio was built inside the Old Fortress of Corfu in 1840, during the English protectorate (1814-1864), to satisfy the religious needs of the British military stationed on the island, converted following the Orthodox cult .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Curiosamente, la chiesa del santo patrono della Repubblica Marinara è quasi sconosciuta, praticamente nascosta tra i vicoli, con una piccola piazza all'ingresso, eclissata dal vicino palazzo dedicato allo stesso santo (e anche Google Maps propone foto di questo palazzo, più che della chiesa). E' un edificio barocco che ha sostituito la precedente chiesa medievale, con una grande cupola stranamente priva di affreschi e decorazioni, considerata l'epoca in cui fu costruita. Da notare la vicina chiesa di San Torpete, piccola ma con una interessante decorazione Rocaille, già chiesa gentilizia della famiglia Cattaneo Della Volta (il cui palazzo si trova proprio alle sue spalle), e il campanile, staccato dalla chiesa, ricavato dalla trasformazione di una torre medievale (e con una notevole edicola barocca)
Curiously, the church of the patron saint of the Maritime Republic is almost unknown, practically hidden in the alleys, with a small square at the entrance, eclipsed by the nearby building dedicated to the same saint (and even Google Maps offers photos of this building, rather than of the church). It is a baroque building that replaced the previous medieval church, with a large dome strangely devoid of frescoes and decorations, considering the time in which it was built. Note the nearby church of San Torpete, small but with an interesting Rocaille decoration, formerly a noble church of the Cattaneo Della Volta family (whose building is right behind it), and the bell tower, detached from the church, obtained from the transformation of a medieval tower (and with a remarkable baroque aedicule)
