Il parco adiacente dovrebbe essere un tentativo, in collaborazione con il WWF, di ricreare ambienti naturali una volta presenti in Romagna (valle, bosco igrofilo e alofilo, prato umido, etc...), dalle foto sembra veramente bello, peccato che sia stato chiuso dalla pessima amministrazione comunale del comune di Russi. The adjacent park should be an attempt, in collaboration with the WWF, to recreate natural environments once present in Romagna (valley, hygrophilous and halophilous wood, damp meadow, etc ...), from the photos it looks really beautiful, too bad it was closed by the bad municipal administration of the municipality of Russi.

La manutenzione del sito lascia un po' a desiderare(erba alta e pochi cartelli didattici)l'ultima campagna di scavi risale agli anni '90. Resta ancora molto da scavare e senza una visita guidata non si può cogliere al meglio quale fosse l'antico splendore di questa villa rurale. Da aggiornare lo scarno opuscolo. La visita al sito inoltre andrebbe integrata con quella al museo di Russi dove sono conservati i reperti ritrovati durante le poche campagne di scavi. Biglietto di ingresso € 2,00. Durante i mesi estivi utile un repellente per insetti. Qualche difficoltà di accesso per i portatori di handicap. Fascinating and little known place despite the discovery dates back to 1939. The maintenance of the site leaves something to be desired (tall grass and a few educational signs) the last excavation campaign dates back to the 90s. Much remains to be excavated and without a guided tour you cannot fully grasp the ancient splendor of this rural villa. The sparse brochure needs to be updated. The visit to the site should also be integrated with the visit to the Russi museum where the artifacts found during the few excavations are kept. Entrance ticket € 2.00. Insect repellent is useful during the summer months. Some access difficulties for the handicapped.

Poi si raggiungono i pavimenti musivi .... e allora tiri un sospiro di sollievo : vale la pena visitare e pagare un biglietto per vedere dei mosaici così belli, ben conservati e con le strutture a ripararli . Andrebbe però valorizzato di più... Upon arrival, the first emotion that seizes you is sadness: it looks like an abandoned site at the mercy of tall grass ...
