★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful view, but that is all I would give a thumbs up for. The prices are high, and the portions are very small. For example, the spritz was €15, the cacio e pepe was €18 and had 10 noodles! Ten! The service was also not related to the prices - the server did not ask if we even enjoyed the food. They also allow tour groups to come up and crowd around your tables so that they can look over the balcony. I would not recommend, and would not return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Writing this review as I’m sat in the bar. It’s been 25 minutes and no one has taken an order. There’s at least 7 other tables in exactly the same position. Plenty of waiters but no one seems to bother to take orders. The views are great and it’s a real shame that the service is so poor

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ there was a nice view, somewhere else, but for the poor souls inside the service was, frankly, a war crime. we were told to wait and we could be seated outside once a table became available. we were then ignored repeatedly, while a dozen or more groups were offered outdoor seating while we remained inside, like second class citizens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped here for a drink after a morning exploring Vatican City. It’s always a goal while traveling to find the best rooftop in each city and the views here did not disappoint! The service staff was friendly, the drinks were amazing and the landscaping around the rooftop was beautiful. We will definitely be recommending this location to all of our friends who visit in the future!
