The site was closed, but from the outside it appeared to be in a state of disrepair with lawn to be mown and weeds on the fence.

G	Giulio Cesare De Santis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'Anfiteatro rappresenta quanto rimane di un complesso monumentale formato da tempio (ora Villa Fidelia), teatro romano (distrutto) ed anfiteatro. La struttura era alta circa 16 metri, in due ordini. Il rescritto di Costantino cita i ludi gladiatori che qui venivano eseguiti, in unione ai riti sacri che invece venivano officiati nel tempio. L'anfiteatro per ora si presenta invaso da erbacce e vegetazione che ne impediscono appieno la comprensione. The Amphitheater represents what remains of a monumental complex consisting of a temple (now Villa Fidelia), a Roman theater (destroyed) and an amphitheater. The structure was about 16 meters high, in two orders. The rescript of Constantine mentions the ludi gladiators that were performed here, in conjunction with the sacred rites that were instead officiated in the temple. The amphitheater for now is invaded by weeds and vegetation that completely prevent understanding.

Unfortunately today it is no longer accessible because it is closed and in very bad state of conservation ..... if properly restored ..... a new wealth for Spello and the whole of Umbria

Practically an abandoned place, complete with padlocks and uncultivated grass .... a real shame ... the archaeological park looks beautiful, but it was impossible to visit it ...
