Vale la pena visitarlo anche per godere del maestoso panorama fino all'Elba.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un monumento di fascino straordinario, per la sua storia, dagli Aldobrandeschi ai Pisani e infine agli adattamenti quattrocenteschi, che na fanno un autentico repertorio della tecnica d'assedio del Tardo Medioevo. Un paesaggio travolgente, seppure con qualche angolo "industriale". Servizio di apertura e di assistenza al visitatore affidato a personale molto preparato, disponibile, cordiale.
