Dal bel giardino interno si vede un panorama fantastico dell'infinito vallata. Esiste anche un percorso museale per visitare i locali interni e i camminamenti sulle mura. La visita merita! Restaurata molto bene ha numerose sale e consiglio di non perderla. Beautiful visitable fortress. Built in 1300 for the garrison that controlled the city. Entry price € 3 with guide. Al suo interno un giardino molto bello con delle panchine da sedersi. Beautiful fortress from where you can see a wonderful view. Il problema della migliore valorizzazione dell’immobile dovrebbe passare attraverso il sacrificio delle piante che cresciute, senza controllo intorno alla rocca ne impediscono di cogliere gli aspetti architettonici. Consiglieremmo la sostituzione di queste piante con cipressi o altro verde di pari o anche maggiore impatto, solo più discreti nei confronti dell’edificio oramai assediato dai rami. Un po’ come accaduto per la rocca di Radicofani la quale liberata dai pini marittimi che la circondavano risulta molto più visibile, interessante e fedele al contesto storico originale.
