★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A giugno 2019 risulta non visitabile. E non potendo salire lì, non si gode di nessun panorama da quel punto. Meglio accontentarsi di fotografarla dalla Rocca Maggiore e non sprecare energie per raggiungerla.
 In June 2019 it cannot be visited. And not being able to climb there, there is no view from that point. Better to be content with photographing it from the Rocca Maggiore and not wasting energy to reach it.

Sorge sull’altura a destra della Rocca Maggiore alla quale, un tempo, era collegata da mura percorribili.
Conosciuta anche col nome di Rocchicciola, o di Cassero di Sant’Antonio, dal nome alla confraternita di Sant’Antonio e San Giacomo che si trova presso la porta dei Cappuccini sotto la rocca stessa.
Le due rocche dominano Assisi dall’alto e sono collegate da una lunga muraglia, sotto la quale esisterebbe un percorso segreto...

A small fortress with a great history
It stands on the hill to the right of the Rocca Maggiore to which it was once connected by passable walls.
Also known as Rocchicciola, or Cassero di Sant’Antonio, from the name of the brotherhood of Sant’Antonio and San Giacomo which is located at the Capuchin gate under the fortress itself.

Overseas fortification of the city, not very large but interesting. A good opportunity to take a long walk in the countryside and enjoy a beautiful view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would be a nice view if they left the gate open so people could just get to it. Instead I saw people climbing up the side wall to get there which is just causing the monument more damage than leaving the gate open.
