The small portions and the seasoning was in passing ? in the starters. The spit expensive for what they give you. Hygiene overflight.

Abbiamo mangiato come antipasto ottimi affettati accompagnati da sottaceti; come piatto principale vari pezzi di carne cotti a lungo sullo spiedo (un piatto tipico della zona) accompagnato da ottime e sottili patatine fritte, polenta gialla, verze cotte nel latte. Caffè e dolci casalinghi. Abbiamo speso 70€ in due adullti e due bambini. Great value for money for this rustic place. We ate excellent cold cuts as an appetizer accompanied by pickles; as a main course various pieces of meat cooked for a long time on the spit (a typical dish of the area) accompanied by excellent and thin fries, yellow polenta, cabbage cooked in milk. Homemade coffee and cakes. We spent € 70 for two adults and two children.

Il ristoro è un bellissimo locale pieno di storia e gestito con passione e professionalità dal quale si esce più che soddisfatti e con la pancia piena. I piatti sono preparati con cura e serviti con estrema cortesia, il tutto nella bellissima cornice del santuario da dove si gode di un panorama mozzafiato. Consigliatissimo! A corner of paradise! The restaurant is a beautiful place full of history and managed with passion and professionalism from which you come out more than satisfied and with a full stomach. The dishes are carefully prepared and served with extreme courtesy, all in the beautiful setting of the sanctuary where you can enjoy a breathtaking view. Highly recommended!

Le tagliatelle con il "sugo di Sant'Augusta" ottime, al dente come piace a me. Ma la cosa migliore...la gentilezza e il sorriso del giovane ragazzo. Bravi. Alla prossima I was with my dog today. I ate outside because the inside was fully booked. The tagliatelle with the "Sant'Augusta sauce" excellent, al dente as I like it. But the best thing ... the kindness and the smile of the young boy. A	Antonietta Pagliuca on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il luogo si trova in un contesto molto bello ed ha il sapore della vecchia osteria informale, proprio come il proprietario ed i giovani aiutanti. Buono il vino ma le porzioni di cibo sarebbero da aumentare sia nella quantità che nel condimento, almeno per quanto riguarda i primi. Da quanto ho visto, nemmeno la porzione di polenta e spiedo sembrava adeguata al prezzo. Peccato, perché trovare una buona cucina in quell'ambientazione sarebbe proprio bello. The place is located in a very beautiful setting and has the flavor of the old informal tavern, just like the owner and the young helpers. The wine is good but the portions of food should be increased both in quantity and in seasoning, at least as regards the former. From what I saw, not even the portion of polenta and spit seemed adequate for the price. Too bad, because finding good food in that setting would be really nice.

Better to bring a snack or a picnic.
