F	Francesco Soletti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sulla sponda orientale del Meschio, presso un ponte, questa chiesa lega i primi secoli della propria storia alla casata dei Da Camino, feudatari di Serravalle: fondata nel 1170 e ricostruita nel 1227 resta legata alla famiglia fino al 1337, quando la città passa sotto la giurisdizione della Serenissima. A suggello di questa vicenda resta il notevolissimo monumento funebre a Rizzardo VI da Camino, loro ultimo rappresentante, sepolto nel 1335. Opera scultorea composita in marmi policromi, ha come elemento centrale il sarcofago, decorato con scene sacre, sul quale è disteso il defunto; a reggerlo sono quattro soldati mentre agli angoli, in scala ridotta, risaltano quattro figure in preghiera, due vescovi, la consorte e la figlia. Rimaneggiata successivamente, la chiesa presenta un interno a navata unica conclusa, oltre tre esili arcate, da un presbiterio poco profondo e notevolmente rialzato. All’altare maggiore risalta una pala, Santa Giustina in gloria, tra Sant'Agostino e Santa Monica, di Giovanni Contarini (1549-1604 ca.), discepolo di Tiziano; notevole è anche il monumento monumento funebre dell’illustre poeta serravallese Guido Casoni (1561-1642); sul soffitto, infine, affreschi del Settecento, di scuola tiepolesca. As a seal of this story remains the remarkable funeral monument to Rizzardo VI from Camino, their last representative, buried in 1335. Composed sculptural work in polychrome marble, it has as its central element the sarcophagus, decorated with sacred scenes, on which the deceased is lying; four soldiers are holding it while at the corners, on a reduced scale, four figures in prayer stand out, two bishops, his wife and daughter. Remanufactured later, the church has a single nave interior completed, over three slender arches, by a shallow and remarkably raised presbytery. At the main altar stands an altarpiece, Santa Giustina in gloria, between Sant'Agostino and Santa Monica, by Giovanni Contarini (c. 1549-1604), a disciple of Titian; remarkable is also the funeral monument of the illustrious Serravallese poet Guido Casoni (1561-1642); on the ceiling, finally, eighteenth-century frescoes, from the Tiepolesque school.
