★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could rate the food only, I’d give it a 4. If I could rate the service only, I’d give it a 2. Bad organization, 2 of the 3 waiters were arrogant and unfriendly. We had to insist to order our food and when it arrived, the wine wasn’t there. If you’re lucky, you’ll spend a good evening. Disappointing for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good restaurant. Quiet and intimate environment (in outside garden). Good quality food at reasonable price. It is not cheap - we had 3 course meal for 2 with wine for €90; but if you compare the same meal to the equivalent average place in old town, it's only a difference on 20%. The best I've tried in Tropea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to this place because of good rewievs on Google. Sadly it left a lot to wisch foor.
Some of the food was served on plastic plates. My secondi was the octopus soup, it had a hole octopus including the head in it cooked in a tomato sauce. It did not look apatizing and the taste was quite bland.
We wont come back here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it’s a must if you like seafood, fish and a good wine! First we were not sure about this choice after reading some reviews but we followed our gut and went there for a dinner. It exceeded all the expectations!! The staff is very nice, friendly and polite. The food was all we were dreaming of. Amazing fish and fresh seafood. The wine was wonderful. Beautiful location hidden couple steps away of all the buzz. The bill surprised very much as for what we get elswhere you would pay double. Highly recommended! Thank you very much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Until tonight, I had NEVER had a bad food experience in Italy. This was probably the worst dinner I have had ever while traveling around Italy. The “italian sushi” is inedible - they will recommend it but DON’T order it! I gagged - and I love sushi/raw fish.
My daughter ordered the cubed steak with mushrooms and truffles and although the sauce was good, the steak was not.
My fiance ordered a tuna fish over potatoes and red onions - the potatoes were great, but the tuna was totally overcooked and also inedible.
My pasta was barely okay, and it was served in a plate cracked all the way down to the middle. Granted, they switched it and brought a new pasta, but the experience by then was ruined.
Unfortunately, this had the potential to have been a great dinner - pleasant outdoor dining, steps away from our hotel, but the food was NOT good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outside the crowded center of Tropea there is this incredible restaurant. The place is all but astonishing (a simple house courtyard), nonetheless, the overall result is truly cozy. The service is fast and caring. The food is simply incredible, all seafood (with few exceptions) is fresh and local. A wonderful discovery!
