★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Both the food and service were amazing. From start to finish, the dishes were of exceptional quality.
When we were explained the specials of the evening we were also presented with the catch of the day, a varient of what we commonly call the Amberjack in English. You could tell that it was fresh as it smelled of the sea and lacked any sort of fishy odor.
Our professional server was imbued with the skill of selecting the perfect wine to accompany our meal. In our case, a dry Calabrian white with mineral notes and a citrus finish.
The entire staff worked as a team to make sure that our table as well as the others never went without need or want.
While I could go into detailed descriptions of the food. I will leave you with our selection and a during recommendation to try Lido Tropical.
Antipasto: Mussels in a white wine sauce with cherry tomatoes
Primi: Spaghetti with garlic, chili oil, parmesan and bread crumbs
Secondi: catch of the day - Amberjack
Dessert: pistachio tiramisu

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was delicious, fair price and the tiramisu, oh the tiramisu was one of the best i've ever had. I definetely recommend it. Golden: staff speaks good English and they have an English menu ♡♡ which makes this place an oasis inside Tropea. They also offer chairs and have a small shower, so we enjoyed the beach first and had lunch later. It was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good simple and honest food, but for a lido it’s excellent.
We had the cozze and a mixed seafood pasta. Both dishes were very tasty and well presented. Serves weren’t huge but perfect for lunch. Good value.
Friendly and hospitable people.
Good coffee and rosato.
The salads we saw looked very good as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A relatively small restaurant with cozy evening atmosphere in front of the sea. Nice service with delicious courses and cheap prices. I strongly recommend to make a reservation for both lunch and/or dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the largest beach but there is enough space between each sun umbrella. The restaurant is really super, go for Pasta and desserts and you’ll be very happy; the sea is deep blue but could be cleaner.
