The primi came before the starters which never came (we have to cancel it as it took so long even after the waiter said it is ready and will come soon)
The shrimp pasta is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ? One of the worst places where I have ever been in my life. Food was not good, service was not professional and the place it self is not the best. Food was coming out not in the order it was supposed to be (someone got pasta before starter). ❗ We found hair in the risotto and they brought us a "new" one in less than 3 minutes (did they change just the plate?!). Fish in general was not cooked well (octopus was gummy, squid was hard). ? Two of us got fishes that taste of ammonia. ? Prices are like in a high level restaurant with no reason since quality is low and portions are not big. Maybe it's a fraud for tourist and we got caught in it...
The worst moment was when we said all this to the owner and instead to say sorry they screamed on us saying it was not true and after that they treated us as if we wanted to get discount...embarrassing! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been there twice and the quality of the food was great! The sea food is super fresh and all other ingredientes also very fresh and tasty.
They have a sea food shop right beside the restaurant in which I also bought some fish to prepare at home and it was incredibly fresh too.
The hospitality was great both times in the restaurant and we were welcomed by Maria and Vincenzo which were great hosts, always smiling and being hospitable making us feel super comfortable. Price is super fair and the food is very well served in quantity and quality.
Thank you guys for everything!
Id strongly recommend this local restaurant for everyone that wants to eat great fresh seafood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best thing for us in Tropea was right across the street of the B&B we stayed in: Pescheria Angelo del Mare - a fresh fish family business restaurant owned by Vincenzo, a local fisherman that goes out the sea every night to make sure that his wife cooks for his clients the freshest fish you can find in Tropea. We love fish and here at Angelo del Mare we've had the freshest fish ever, large portions at a very reasonable price thanks to Vincenzo! Grazie mille ragazzi! We will be back as soon as possible!
