G	Giovanni Agazzi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho avuto la fortuna di sperimentare questo ristorante nei giorni piu' caldi di agosto quando la splendida terrazza, che si affaccia su una valle ricoperta di una vegetazione lussureggiante, posta a quasi 400 metri di quota, viene accarezzata da una brezza deliziosa. Veder comparire le prime stelle della sera mentre si assaporano i piatti di questo ristorante a gestione famigliare e' un'esperienza appagante. Il menu' offre una discreta scelta di piatti di terra e di mare ma e' importante chiedere consiglio sui piatti del giorno, altrimenti si rischia di perdere le cose piu' interessanti. Io amo il pesce ed ho apprezzato particolarmente le linguine al pesto di mare, quelle coi gamberoni, l'insalata di piovra e l'impepata di cozze. Non bisogna pero' trascurare il fatto che in questo ristorante si mangia una pizza eccezionale, preparata da un cuoco con oltre 50 anni di esperienza! In particolare la sua pizza "caprese" e' probabilmente la migliore pizza che io abbia mai mangiato. I prezzi sono assolutamente ragionevoli ma la spesa si puo' ulteriormente contenere bevendo il vino bianco della casa, fresco e leggero, con una gradazione adeguata al clima estivo. Il servizio e' amichevole, in linea con la gestione famigliare del locale e sulla terrazza l'arredamento e' semplice, quasi spartano. Se per voi la forma e' molto importante, potreste rimanere delusi. Se invece apprezzate le cose semplici, quando sono portate al massimo livello di qualita' dall'amore per il proprio lavoro, allora penso che in questo ristorante potrete trascorrere una piacevolissima serata. I was lucky enough to experience this restaurant on the hottest days of August when the splendid terrace, which overlooks a valley covered with lush vegetation, located at an altitude of almost 400 meters, is caressed by a delicious breeze. Seeing the first stars of the evening while savoring the dishes of this family-run restaurant is a rewarding experience. The menu offers a good selection of dishes from land and sea but it is important to ask for advice on the dishes of the day, otherwise you risk losing the most interesting things. I love fish and I particularly enjoyed the linguine with sea pesto, those with prawns, octopus salad and mussels. But we must not overlook the fact that in this restaurant we eat an exceptional pizza, prepared by a chef with over 50 years of experience! In particular, his "caprese" pizza is probably the best pizza I've ever eaten. The prices are absolutely reasonable but the cost can be further reduced by drinking the white wine of the house, fresh and light, with an adequate gradation for the summer climate. The service is friendly, in line with the family's local management and on the terrace the decor is simple, almost spartan. If the form is very important to you, you may be disappointed. If instead you appreciate the simple things, when they are brought to the maximum level of quality by the love for their work, then I think that in this restaurant you can spend a very pleasant evening.

Primi , secondi e contorni , di mare e di terra, eccezionali, cucinati con amore e passione dalla Signora Teresa, vera artista dei fornelli. La stessa passione e familiarità con cui Teresa accoglie i suoi ospiti, assieme al marito e ai figli. Noi frequentiamo De Maria House con annesso Ristorante PicNic da 30 anni . Non ci ha mai deluso. Restaurant of excellent quality. First, second and side dishes, of sea and land, exceptional, cooked with love and passion by Mrs. Teresa, true artist of the stove. The same passion and familiarity with which Teresa welcomes her guests, together with her husband and children. We have been visiting De Maria House with an adjoining PicNic restaurant for 30 years. It has never let us down.
